Life with Undiagnosed Prefrontal Cortex ADD
Mrs. Knuckle has recently discovered some literature that indicates that I might have a type of ADD. Simply put, I have a lot of the indicators of adult ADD, this makes life difficult in many areas. In this area I’ll thus develop some of the ideas that occur to me as a result of my particular case. I tend to be a voracious reader and researcher into the arcane… it tends to intrude in other areas of real life. On the other hand, what better place to put all this research down then onto a blog?
Additionally, I’ll be attempting to put down some practical tips for myself and others who may suffer from my type of ADD.
Rule #1 for living with ADD:
-Eat a live toad first thing every day in this way everything else you do that day is much easier to stomach. Adapted from Dr. Amen’s book, do the most distasteful task first.
I need to learn how to apply rule #1 to my own life. Here is another way to phrase rule #1 for my own life: “Do not check email or facebook until the end of the day.”
